About Me

The author, Katie Marl is 21 years old. She is in her final year at Edge Hill College in Ormskirk studying to be a primary school teacher specialising in English.

The book came about from working within the Student Community Action Network. Accessible games and guidelines were a frequent request and searching showed that books like the one written did not exist.

Having spent life confined to a wheelchair and worked with a variety of client groups (children, adults, people with disabilities) including training students and professionals. The author has much knowledge and valuable advice to bring to a book of this type.

Update from book - Katie has now graduated and is geography co-ordinator at Freshfield County Primary School in Formby near Southport teaching 9-10 year olds.
